How a screening step works
A step calls complyadvantage.search_entity with the name from the customer record. If results come back, complyadvantage.get_hit fetches each listed entry so the agent can compare it with your record and draft a note on what matches and what differs.
A CEL rule decides what happens next. A possible match goes to a named reviewer, and their decision and reason are logged with the hit.
Setting it up
A workspace Admin adds the ComplyAdvantage connection and stores the API key in the vault. Eval scenarios, such as a known list name and a near miss, run in the sandbox before a version goes live.
Screening appears across AML automation and KYC automation. Applicant data comes from the Sumsub integration.

Whether a hit is a true match is a reviewer's call. The agent compares the listed entry with your record and drafts a note, then the run waits for a named reviewer. The connection does not change anything in ComplyAdvantage today.
